Since October 2016, NYDIS and the Center for NYC Neighborhoods, have partnered to manage a Superstorm Sandy recovery contract with NYC Build It Back providing Temporary Housing Services (THS) to over 390 households (800+ individuals) eligible for the City's elevation and rebuild program.

NYC Sandy Unmet Needs Roundtable

Convened by NYDIS and the Human Service Council, the NYC Sandy Unmet Needs Roundtable was established in 2013 to meet the unique emergency and long-term recovery needs of Superstorm Sandy affected households.
