NYDIS is offering a free 2.5 hour Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) writing workshop for congregation decision-makers tasked with writing an emergency plan. This workshop is targeted specifically towards congregations who do not have an emergency action plan or continuity of operations plan in place. Space is limited to 10 participants in order to provide individual guidance for plan writing during the workshop. The training will be held using an online webinar platform. All workshop materials will be included digitally. Participants should come prepared to write plans for their congregation or organization.
Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) is a useful tool that will help your house of worship or faith-based organization have a plan for when unexpected disruptions occur. Due to the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, NYDIS has mobilized to provide a series of workshops that build congregational capacity.
If your congregation or faith-based organization does not have an emergency plan or continuity of operations plan, and you have been tasked with creating these plans, please join us for this workshop.
