Puerto Rico OVAD Meeting in Playa (Anasco)

On August 16th, our executive director, Peter B. Gudaitis was in Playa (Añasco)where NYDIS, TeamPlaya Añasco, Proyecto Refugio por Barrio Playaand Municipio de Añasco co-hosting a wonderful meeting of Organizaciones Voluntarias Activas en Desastres – PR VOAD leaders from across the Island.

Congrats to Project Refuge which gave an impressive overview of the almost two years of the community lead recovery projects, supported by NYDIS and the NYC-PR Long-term Recovery Group, since #Mariapushed 4’-11’ of storm surge through this community of 625 families.
