To date, NYDIS’ NYC Evacuee Unmet Needs Roundtable (UNR) has distributed $140,027.95 in sustainable recovery assistance to assist 63 households secure sustainable, long-term housing, purchase furniture, relocate out of state, or pay for transportation back to safe and habitable housing

NYC Puerto Rico Long-Term Recovery Group

Marking the half-year anniversary of Hurricane Maria's landfall on Puerto Rico, on March 20th, NYDIS hosted over 40 NYC Puerto Rican grassroots activists, nonprofits, and VOAD partners to begin formation of the NYC Puerto Rico Long-Term Recovery Group.
