Elements House – Lower East Side

The Clubhouse International Model is an evidence-based approach that supports individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) by engaging them as active members. This participation fosters a sense of agency and improves mental health, social skills, and vocational readiness while reducing hospitalization and homelessness. Despite its effectiveness, fewer than 2,500 people in New York City have access to this model, leaving many underserved.

 
January 2026, we celebrated one year of community, connection, and growth at Elements House-LES. Over the past year, our clubhouse has grown into a space for belonging, purpose, and recovery — shaped by the commitment and care of our members, staff, and partners.
